By creating an account or using Rentsoft, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Rentsoft on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company to these terms.
Rentsoft provides property-management tools including rental listings, tenant screening, applications, leases, and rent collection. Core property-management features are free for landlords and property managers. Optional services such as tenant screening reports and payment processing may carry fees, which are disclosed before you use them.
You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Rentsoft is intended for users in the United States who are at least 18 years old.
Screening reports are provided through TransUnion and are governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You agree to use reports only for permissible purposes, to obtain applicant consent, and to comply with all applicable fair-housing laws when making rental decisions.
Where Rentsoft facilitates rent or fee payments, you authorize us and our payment partners to process those transactions. Processing fees, if any, are shown at the time of payment. You are responsible for the accuracy of payment details.
You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to access data without authorization, upload unlawful content, or use Rentsoft to discriminate against any protected class. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Rentsoft is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rentsoft is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
